Greene County EMS is a two tier System. Paramedic Service is provided
by Greene County EMS, which is a non-profit corporation. Funding is supplied by 2/3 from Greene County and 1/3 from the individual
Towns. Their Boards of Directors is made up of representaion from each town.
Ambulance service
is provided by designated "squads" throughout Greene. A number of Fire Departments also offer First Responder coverage
for their designated Fire District Coverage area.
