The Fleischmanns Fire Engine Company #1, located at 1298 Main St. in Fleischmanns,
Delaware County, NY 12430 provides fire protection for the Hamlet of Halcott Center, Greene County, NY.
Although in Greene County, Halcott Center cannot be reached by road from Greene County! It is located on Vly Creek at the
foot of Halcot Mountain, and access is from Fleischmanns, via Delaware County Rt 3.
EMS service
is provided by the Margaretville Rescue Squad.
For some reason the day I tried to get photos of the Fire Department,
the equipment could not be pulled out for better shots. I was offered the opportunity to shoot "in house", so here
they are, it's better than nothing.
Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to reshoot this Department.
I was unable to shoot Margaretville Rescue Squad, but since, have made a contact to do so, my next trip over.
