Berne Fire District - Berne Fire Company

     The Berne Fire Company, organized in 1928 is one of two Companies within the Berne Fire District. Along with East Berne, they provide fire protection for the Town of Berne. 

Current Fire Chief is Holly Clark.

The "Village Queen" , a 1923 Model T Ford retrofitted in 1928 by ALF with a 250 GPM pump was the first firefighting apparatus for the Berne Fire Company. Refurbed, today it is proudly displayed at parades and other firematic functions.
