Protecting the Town of Westerlo, the Westerlo Fire Department responds from two stations. Station One, in the hamlet is at 592 Rt 143 and station two is located at 157 Rt 405. A third station, in Dormansville, is used soley for storage.
     Westerlo shares Mutual Aid with Greene County, primarily with Greenville, Earlton and Coxsackie.
